ADMISSION POLICY
The Admission policy of BJIS is based on merit and determined by the school board and management in association with the state and federal government educational policies regarding admission into elementary/primary and secondary schools.
Berachah Jubilee International School offers admission to pupils/students for the following classes:
- Creche
- Playgroup – Pre-Nursery
- Nursery 1 – 2
- Pre-Basic – Basic 5
- Junior Secondary School (JSS 1 – 3)
- Senior Secondary School (SSS 1 – 3)
ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS
Conditions for Admission
- For Creche class, the child must be one year in age or above
- For Playgroup and Pre – Nursery classes, the child must be two and three years in age respectively
- For Nursery and primary classes, the child must provide the last term result from his/her former school
- For Playgroup to Basic 5 classes, the child must undergo an entrance examination
- For a child to be admitted, he/she must get at least 50% pass mark of the entrance examination written
- In a case where there is a variance in the age specification for any particular class, parents must discuss it with the Head Master of the school
- The child must be mentally and physically fit
Requirements for Admission
- Three (3) recent passport photographs with clear background
- Letter of undertaking on good conduct and character of the child from the parents/guardian
- Agreement to abide by the school “code of conduct” signed by the parents/guardian and pupil/student
- A medical report if the child has any illness
- Birth certificate/court declaration of age
How to Apply @ BJIS
Application into BJIS is simple and straightforward. Approach the front desk secretary of the school who will lead you to the administrative department. Admin officer will direct you to pay for the entrance/application form to the cashier after which you will be given the form to fill and return within a stipulated time before expiration.
Pupil/students will be transferred to the academic department to meet with the Principal, Head of Primary or Nursery where entrance examination and interview will be conducted respectively. Fees will be given and a minimum payment of 80% must be made after which an admission letter and other things will be given.
